Bug & Anti-Itch Spray with Essential Oils

Found these recipes on a FB EO group board - going to definitely give them a try!

Bug Spray and Anti Itch Spray

I always post that I love make my bug spray with YLEO's. Here is my recipe:
2 oz filtered or distilled water
2 tsp witch hazel
15 drops purification
8 drops Thieves
8 drops Peppermint

I used to use just use Purification but bugs love me and I added the others to make a little more universal spray to combat all the things that like to bite me and my daughter.

So I took a field trip to beautiful Caladesi Island with my daughter's first grade class on Thurs. Unexpectedly the No See Ums (tiny biting flies we have in FL) were in full force. I used my 2 oz. bottles of spray I had in my bag on my 5 1st grade girls in my group. I hope it helped them. I however now have over 100 bites on my arms, chest and neck. (the outline of the sleeveless dress I had on is very apparent) I became very miserable last night and made sure I found something oily to combat my itching.

I now have a 4 oz bottle of this Anti Itch Spray that I made:
3 oz Witch Hazel
1 oz Aloe Vera (I had to leave this out because I didn't have any and we left in the morning for a soccer tournament)
10 drops Lavender
5 drops Frankincense
10 drops Tea Tree

This spray is to help with anything itchy, not just bug bites.

itch stick for mosquito bites:  It was a tablespoon of coconut oil, teaspoon of beeswax, and 6 drops of lavender. Took 5 minutes. So easy!!
